A Western-Themed Baby Shower High Tea for Baby James — The Little Teapot, Davistown

There's something about a baby shower high tea that just feels right.

The fine china, the tiered stands, the little sandwiches and scones — it all adds up to the kind of gathering that feels genuinely special, and that guests talk about long after the day is done.

We had the joy of hosting a beautiful baby shower for Baby James here at The Little Teapot in Davistown.

The theme? Western and wildlife — complete with a breathtaking custom cake featuring cowboy boots, a Sheriff's hat, cow-print detailing, and a wagon wheel, all hand-crafted in sugar paste. The table styling carried the theme through beautifully, with giraffe-print gift boxes, BABY letter blocks, balloons in cream and gold, and sweet stuffed giraffe toys waiting to welcome the newest arrival.

Our team set up the space to complement the guests' decorations, and we served our Savoury High Tea to the group — a generous spread of finger sandwiches, house-made scones with jam and cream, homemade slices and tarts, plus petite quiche, corn and zucchini fritters, and smoked salmon tarts. All made fresh that morning in our kitchen.
